Plate 16The soil is classified as a fine, montmorillonitic Mollic Entroboralf. It is approximately 11 km (7 mi) north-northwest of Jacobs Lake at an elevation of approximately 2130 m (7000 ft) on the Kaibab Plateau. It is in Soil Mapping Unit FH4, but a series name has not yet been designated for this soil.
